We consider publicly verifiable education, teaching roles, institutional context, subject focus, sustained public work, and whether a speaker’s official content can be responsibly organized for learners.
How content discovery works
Official-source links are published only after the speaker’s identity, portrait, and publishing channel agree. The four discovery searches use the speaker’s exact name, institutional or convention affiliation, and YouTube’s duration or playlist filters to reduce similarly named results. Every option identifies whether it is an official source, channel-matched search, or identity-filtered search.
How to use the directory
Hover or tap a speaker’s name and choose a short item under four minutes, a focused lesson under twenty minutes, a long-form lecture over twenty minutes, or a complete class series. For personal religious rulings, consult a qualified scholar who understands your circumstances.
Corrections and appeals
Biographical information can change. Speakers, institutions, and visitors can request a correction or profile review at info@ratemyshiekh.com.
